Terms of Use
1. Acceptance
By using the Moodup mobile app ("Moodup") you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Moodup is operated by Celal Alperen Sezgün.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Moodup. You must provide accurate profile information and use only one account.
3. Community guidelines
Moodup is a platform for meeting people through shared activities; it is not a dating app. The following are not allowed:
- Harassment, threats, bullying or making others uncomfortable,
- Sexual content, sexual solicitation or persistent unwanted advances,
- Hate speech and discrimination,
- Fake profiles, impersonation or misleading information,
- Spam, unsolicited advertising and commercial promotion,
- Illegal activity, or events involving illegal substances or weapons,
- Sharing other people's personal information without permission.
4. Meetups and safety
Events are organized by users; Moodup only connects people. We do not perform identity or background checks. We recommend meeting in public places, sharing your plans with someone you trust and leaving any situation where you feel unsafe. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for users' conduct at meetups or for any harm arising from them. Please report anything inappropriate in the app.
5. Your content
You are responsible for the content you share, such as your profile, photos, events and messages. You grant us a free, non-exclusive license to display this content within Moodup, limited to providing the service. Your content is deleted when you delete your account.
6. Moderation
We may remove content that violates these Terms and suspend or close accounts without notice. We aim to review reports as soon as possible, and within 24 hours at the latest.
7. Paid features
Moodup Plus subscriptions and paid features such as "Boost" are purchased through the App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you are charged through your store account. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your store account settings. Refunds are subject to Apple's or Google's policies. "Boost" is a single-use feature. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
8. Intellectual property
The Moodup name, logo, design and software belong to the operator and may not be used without permission.
9. Limitation of liability
Moodup is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the app.
10. Termination
You can delete your account at any time in the app. We may close your account if you violate these Terms.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms and will announce important changes in the app. Continuing to use the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Without prejudice to your statutory consumer rights, the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul have jurisdiction over disputes.
